IEP 2nd grade autistic student

IEP's are a very important part of a child school life with autism. Many probably have trouble dealing with them. What should I put on there and so on. I myself ask the same questions, and wonder what others have on their child's plan. I thought that I would share with you the boy's IEP this school year.

Eddie 7y/o 2nd grade

Eddie is a second grade student at ___ school. Eddie knows all the sight words on the first grade sight word list. According to On the Mark Assessment, Eddie is reading on a J level. Eddie know recognizes almost all the numbers 0-100. Eddie can add with and without regrouping and subtract without regrouping. He can tell time to the hour and half hour. He can identify coins and state their value. He has trouble determining mixed coins to $1.00. He has a little trouble counting by 2's. Eddie has trouble spacing words when writing. He knows how to spell most words on the first grade sight word list. Eddie likes to establish a routine and get a little annoyed when he is detoured from his routine. Eddie adjusts to his routine slowly. Depending on the type of day Eddie is having depends on how well he interacts with his classmates. Eddie has some trouble accepting the word "No". Eddie does except some consequences for his actions. Eddie's parents are concerned about his progress and they want him to do well. Eddie will participate in the general ed. classing in the following areas: Science, Social Studies, P.E., Art, Spanish, Library, Music, recess, lunch, Math, and any other extra curricular activities. Eddie will participate in the special ed. classroom in the following areas: language arts.

Here are the specifics of the IEP:
small group, extra time to complete assignments, cue student on stay on task, highlight key words or phrases in directions, read, repeat or paraphrase directions--not passages.

Uses restraints and does not call inappropriate attention to self.
Accepts consequences of own actions without shutting down.
Will complete and master the 2nd grade math objectives according to the Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks with 70% mastery.
Will complete and master the 2nd grade reading objectives according to the Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks with 70% mastery.
Will complete and master the 2nd grade language arts according to the Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks with 70% mastery.
Will complete and master the 2nd grade science/social studies goals according to the Mississippi Curriculum Frameworks with 70% mastery.
