Tupelo, MS Autism Awareness Walk

Autism Awareness Walk on Saturday, April 4, at Veterans Park from 10-12. The walk is FREE, t-shirts are $15 each. We have the walk scheduled at 10:15AM (registration starts around 9:45AM). We are asking people to bring their own picnic, we have an art activity for adults and children, as well as live music. The art activity is the opportunity to paint your own puzzle piece (autism symbol) on large wooden puzzle pieces donated by a group member. A few of these will be on display at Gumtree Arts festival in May along with any other t-shirts, autism info, etc., we can piece together for an exhibit.

This year, nor any year, will be perfect. We are starting out very small but want to have the walk in April due to Autism awareness month.
