Autism Doctor Plans To Come To Tupelo, MS
>> Wednesday, March 18, 2009
As some may know from reading other articles that I have posted that Dr. Tim Callaghan of Senatobia, Mississippi will be speaking at the next autism meeting in Tupelo, MS. He was featured in our local paper. The Daily Journal captured the interview, as he said that, " At this point, we no longer use the term DAN doctor, so we now call ourselves biomedical doctors. What we practice is a biomedical approach to autism. Biomedical means that we don't believe that autism is an entirely genetic , fixed permanent, psychological state of being."
We are hoping that locals will come visit Dr. Callaghan who will be able to answer questions that parents may have. I hope that you will be able to go to the meeting that is held on March 23, 2009 at 6:00p.m. at the Lee County Library. Hope to see you there.
